May 04 (Siasat News): Revolutionary poet Gadar terming Sohrabuddin as
martyr said that India is no longer a secular country but has changed
into a `fake encounter country.'
Police have not raped Kausar Bi but they have raped the country itself. It is really surprising that A P Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy have given clean chit to the A P police before the investigation. Now they want to gain political mileage by demanding its investigation.
Raising the revolution against the violation of human rights, the revolutionary poet in his exclusive interview to `Siasat' said that in Indian bureaucracy, the percentage of Hindutva mentality is on an all time high and the worst situation is prevailing in Gujarat where a communal CM like Narendra Modi is encouraging the communal outfits and patting the communal police officials resulting in the fake encounters.
Lakhs of people are killed in fake encounters like the one, which killed Sohrabuddin. And the irony of it is that most of the time, the encounters were organized against Muslims. As the case of Sohrabuddin has come to the forefront and its enquiry is going on, it has created a ray of hope for the kith and kin of those who were killed in similar fake encounters earlier. They are now keeping their fingers crossed to get justice. India was a secular country but to meet their evil interests, police has converted this country as a fake encounter country by taking disadvantage of their powers.
Many such fake encounters are taking place in Kashmir , Assam , Nagaland, Mizoram, Mumbai, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh where girls and women are subjected to the sexual assaults and their sanctity is broken. In the name of Muslim youth's alleged involvement with Lashkar-e-Tayyaba, ISI and other terrorist organization, they are being killed in fake encounters. Police is playing a safe game and to curb the people's agitation against the fake encounters, they are labeling the youths as terrorists and in this way, continuing its Mafia Raaj and have become supari killer.
Police department is for the protection of the people but the situation is reversed here and they have turned the dacoits in uniform. He said that Sohrabuddin' s fake encounter has shown the true colour of the police. He has sacrificed his life and his wife Kausar Bi was the daughter of the nation. By raping her, police have raped the nation itself. This evil act of the police has put the head of each and every person of the country down in shame.
Are the Chief Minster and Intelligence chief not aware about the arrest of Sohrabuddin and later, being handed over to Gujarat police? They are all aware of what was going on under their nose. Mr. Gadar was astonished over giving clean chit to the A P police by the C M, home minister and DGP without any prior enquiry. Ultimately, the CM has demanded the investigation to be done by CBI. In this demand, his intention doesn't seem to be decent.
This demand is not raised either to nab the killers of Sohrabuddin or to prove police innocent or not guilty but to gain a political mileage out of the entire episode. Mr. Gadar concluded.
