Lighter fluid can remove cooking oil stains
When cooking-oil stains won't wash out of clothes, try pouring a little lighter fluid directly onto the stain before washing it the next time. The stain will come out in the wash.
Dental floss can unstick photos
Sometimes photos get stuck to each other and it seems the only way to separate them is to ruin them. Try working a length of dental floss between the pictures to gently pry them apart.
You can freshen the air with lemons
You don't have to use an aerosol spray to neutralize foul-smelling cat-box odors or freshen the air in your bathroom. Just cut a couple of lemons in half.Then place them, cut side up, in a dish in the room,and the air willsoon smell lemon-fresh.
You can clean up glass fragments using bread
Picking up the large pieces of a broken glass or dish is usually easy enough, but getting up those tiny slivers can be a real pain (figuratively if not literally). The easiest way to make sure you don't miss any is to press a slice of bread over the area. Just be careful not to prick yourself when you toss the bread into the garbage.
Beer can remove stains
Getting that coffee or tea stain out your rug may seem impossible, but you can literally lift it out by pouring a bit of beer right on top. Rub the beer lightly into the material, and the stain should disappear. You may have to repeat the process a couple of times to remove all traces of the stain.
Mayonnaise is a great exfoliant
Soften and remove dead skin from elbows and feet. Rub mayonnaise over the dry, rough tissue, leave it on for 10 minutes, and wipe it away with a damp cloth.
Spraying window cleaner on a pimple will make it go away

To relieve your aching back, mix sufficient water with meat tenderizer to make a paste and rub it on your back where it hurts. The enzymes in the tenderizer will help soothe those aching back muscles.
Lemon juice is a great disinfectant
Stop bleeding and disinfect minor cuts and scrapes. Pour a few drops of lemon juice directly on the cut or apply the juice with a cotton ball and hold firmly in place for one minute.
A toothbrush is a great tool for cleaning your cheese grater
Give the teeth of a cheese grater a good brushing with an old toothbrush before you wash the grater or put it in the dishwasher. This will make it easier to wash and will prevent clogs in your dishwasher drain by getting rid of bits of cheese or any other item you may have grated
You can clean your comb with adhesive tape
To remove the gunk that builds up between the teeth of your comb, press a strip of adhesive tape along the comb's length, and lift it off. Then dip the comb in a solution of alcohol and water, or ammonia and water, to sanitize it.Let dry.
You can dust hidden places with pantyhose
Having trouble catching those dust bunnies residing underneath and alongside your refrigerator? Round them up by balling up a pair of old pantyhose and attaching it with a rubber band to a coat hanger or yardstick. The dust and dirt will cling to the nylon, which can easily be washed off before being called back for dusting duty.
You can clean your dishwasher with Kool-Aid
Is the inside of your dishwasher rusty brown? The cause is a high iron content in your water. Dump a packet of unsweetened lemonade Kool-Aid into the soap drawer and run the washer through a hot-water cycle. When you open the door, the inside will be as white as the day you bought the machine.
